Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Kolav app. Using the app means you accept them. If something here does not work for you, please do not use the app.

1. The service

Kolav lets you photograph your clothes, keep a digital wardrobe, get outfit suggestions, try looks on an avatar or on a photo of your face, and list or browse secondhand items in the marketplace. We may change, add or remove features from time to time.

2. Account and age

• The app is for ages 13 and over.
• The marketplace is for ages 18 and over only.
• Your account is personal. Do not share your sign-in details.
• The details you give at signup should be accurate, in particular your age band.

3. Your content

The photos and content you upload stay yours. You give us a limited licence to process, store and display them, only in order to run the service for you, and to pass them to the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

You confirm that the photos you upload are yours, and that they do not show another person's face without that person's permission.

4. Subscription and payment

Alongside a free plan, Kolav offers a paid subscription in three forms:

• Monthly, renewing every month.
• Annual, renewing every year, usually with a 7 day free trial.
• Lifetime, a one-time payment with no renewal.

The exact price, currency and trial period are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you confirm, according to your store and country. A free trial is offered only where the store offers one for that plan.

How payment works

• Payment is charged to your App Store account, not to us directly.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You cancel in your App Store account settings, under Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If you buy during a free trial, any unused part of the trial is forfeited.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. We cannot refund a purchase made through the store.
• "Lifetime" means for the lifetime of the service, for as long as Kolav operates.

5. Plan limits

Current limits, which we may update with notice in the app:

• Free plan: up to 30 wardrobe items, up to 5 saved looks, up to 3 try-ons.
• Paid plan: unlimited items and looks, and up to 30 try-ons per calendar month (Israel time).
• Marketplace: up to 5 active listings on the free plan, up to 20 on a paid plan.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Upload offensive, racist, sexual, harassing or illegal content.
• Upload a photo of another person without their permission, including in Try On Yourself.
• Impersonate another person.
• Scrape the service, run automated access, or work around usage limits.
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service or its providers.

Breaking these rules can lead to content removal, account suspension or account closure.

7. The marketplace

The marketplace is a listings board between users. Kolav is not a party to any sale.

• The deal, the payment and the handover happen directly between you and the other person, at your own risk.
• We do not handle payment, shipping, refunds or disputes between the parties.
• Do not send a deposit to someone you have not met, and do not give card details to the other party.
• List only items you actually own, photographed through Kolav. Counterfeits are not allowed.
• A listing reported by three different users is hidden automatically and goes to review.
• We may remove or hide a listing, or block an account, at our discretion.
• The number of contact requests per hour and per day is limited, to protect sellers from spam.
• You must accept the marketplace rules in the app before your first listing.

8. Suggestions are not professional advice

Looks, tags and try-on images are generated automatically by AI models. They can be wrong. A try-on image is a simulation, not a photograph, and it does not promise how an item will look or fit in real life, nor is it necessarily accurate about size, cut or shade. The suggestions are not professional styling advice, medical advice or a purchase recommendation, and the decision is always yours.

9. Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accurate results or freedom from faults. Some features depend on external providers, and an outage there can stop them temporarily.

Subject to applicable law, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including lost profit or lost data.

10. Ending

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from inside it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where the breach is not serious we will try to warn you first.

11. Changes to these terms

We will update the date at the top of the page whenever these terms change. A material change will be brought to your attention in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction.
